The light and airy Fountain Room is adjacent to the Great Barn and available for you to use as you wish for your reception.

Try comfortable sofas for your guests to relax with friends and family or games for entertainment. Alternatively have supper served to your evening guests; the choice is yours. For smaller parties the Fountain Room will sit up to 80 guests and provide a more intimate alternative to the Great Barn.

The North Wing is the oldest part of Oxnead Hall. Decorated with antiques and original art work, it offers modern luxury with the charm of a 400 year old building.

The Great Barn
The Great Barn is the main events venus sitting up to 200 for dinner or 300 for other events.
The award winning Great Barn has recently been completely refurbished. Whilst retaining all its historic charm it now also incorporates air cooling, underfloor heating, a sound system and atmospheric lighting. The flexible space which is fully accessible can sit up to 220 guests for your wedding breakfast. There is plenty of room for a dance floor, live band, DJ, or other musicians. In addition, there is a fully serviced bar and carefully designed toilets including disabled and baby changing facilities. The rustic setting of the barn, combined with the latest technology allow you to create the country or rustic wedding of your dreams.

The gardens at Oxnead offer a variety of unique settings for outdoor or duo cermonies. The Tudor Parterre, the lake, and the water gardens offer a truly romantic setting for outdoor weddings. Amongst the 15 acres of exquisite gardens you will find numerous places for a duo wedding to be held. Invite your guests to sit in front of the lake as you approach through the aisle of trees or gather in the water gardens to exchange your vows. Alternatively, choose the parterre for your ceremony and seat your guests in front of the flower borders.

The Fountain Room is licensed for civil marriages and sits up to 140 people. It can also be used as a flexible additional space adjoining the Great Barn
The Fountain Room is adjoined to the Great Barn and sits up to 140 guests for a civil ceremony. It is an elegant, light filled room, subtly decorated with statues and mirrors, with double doors leading out to the pretty Fountain Courtyard.
White chairs and flowers of your choice are all that is needed to ensure that everything is perfect for your civil marriage ceremony. Enter through the double doors at the back of the room and walk down the aisle with your attendants with your guests on either side.

The Church
St Michael’s church is situated on the far side of the Walled Garden, sitting up to 90 people.
St Michael and All Angels church is a beautiful Medieval church, completely secluded by the surrounding woodland, and reached through the ancient walled gardens of Oxnead Hall. The romantic atmosphere of the church is enhanced by stained glass windows, old oak pews, chandeliers and a recently installed organ. Seating up to 90 guests St Michael’s is the perfect choice for an intimate church wedding.
If you’re looking to have a church wedding in Norfolk, St Michael’s Church provides the option of having a more traditional religious ceremony. In a beautiful secluded and romantic setting.
The Orangery
The orangery which strongly resembles Kings College Cambridge is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and is also a perfect party or dining room all year round with fabulous views overlooking the parterre.
CEREMONIES
For smaller civil marriages, hosting up to 50 guests, the orangery provides a perfect setting.
Flanking the parterre and leading down to the lake, the orangery is a tranquil oasis. The turreted chapel like exterior is complemented by a light and airy interior, with full length windows overlooking the garden. The interior is simple and elegant allowing you freedom to create your dream ceremony.
